Welcome to the annual flagship convention, our International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering. The conference will be held during October 11-14, 2021 and is hosted in one of the oldest cities in Australia, Brisbane. The official Language of the conference is English. Unfortunately, translation and interpreting services will not be available.
With Australia experiencing its seasons in an opposite pattern from the rest of the northern hemisphere, with spring lasting from September to November. The temperatures during this period are pleasant with less rainfall with this being a lovely time to visit the beautiful city of Brisbane. However, we suggest carrying an extra layer or two of clothing for the evening and an umbrella or light rain jacket for any late spring showers.
We encourage participants to dress comfortably in casual business attire. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so wear layered clothing to ensure personal comfort.
Please arrive at the conference room at least 30 minutes before your session begins. As there may be changes to the conference program this allows participants to be notified in a timely manner. Although there is free Wi-Fi in the conference room, electrical outlets will not be available for use due to safety reasons. As a courtesy to speakers and other participants, mobile phones must be turned to silent before entering the sessions. As the event will be professionally photographed, if you are taking photos, please turn off your flash. The distribution of advertising messages in any form is strictly prohibited, except for our exhibitors/sponsors.
